Assistant Headteacher - Miss Quinn
I graduated from the University of Hull with a degree in psychology in 1998. Following this I worked in a children's bookshop and did a teaching qualification which allowed me to teach English abroad. This allowed me to have an amazing year living in Italy and then two years in Spain having a wonderful time, travelling, eating lovely food and trying my best to learn the language! I then moved back to the UK where I continued to teach English at a college in London for a year and then at the University of Manchester. Around this time I decided I would like to become a primary school teacher and went on to do my teaching qualification. I have been lucky enough to work at 3 fabulous schools in South Manchester. It's great to work with such a wonderful team at Ladybarn and feel privileged each year to get to know a new class of children and see them progress and grow over the year.
In my spare time I love to keep fit by running and doing yoga. Travelling is still something I love to do and I enjoy exploring new places far and wide. Music is really important for me and I love going to live concerts when I can. I love reading as much as possible and also enjoy cooking up different dishes in the kitchen!
