In November 2023, Mr Caldwell joined sporting stars, local athletes, local coaches and clubs  in Manchester for a special celebration of their achievements at the Manchester Sports Awards and to accept the Manchester Sports Awards 'School of the Year' for Ladybarn!

This was such deserved recognition for the fantastic work the staff do to deliver brilliant P.E (dance, gym, MYPB, outdoor games, OOHL, competitions etc) and recognition that we prioritise that our children are active, healthy and understand wellness. The children were also very proud of their recent sporting successes!

The school received a lot of really lovely feedback from senior people involved in sport across the city and it was clear to them what a great job we do as a school for our pupils.
