Communication

Ladybarn Primary is happy to offer an open door policy with regards to all parents concerns.

Class Teachers are now available to contact using a class email address - please ask the school office for details of your class teachers email address.

The Executive Head Teacher When Mrs Vyas is in school and free, she is delighted to see any parents or take calls.  Mrs Vyas splits her time between the three schools so is regularly in all of them.

Our Head of School and our SENDCO, Mr Caldwell & Miss Chase, if available, can generally see you during the day, however on occasions appointments may have to be made. Mr Caldwell and Miss Chase are happy to talk to you in person, over the phone or through email.

Mrs Clark, the Trust's Parent Support Advisor, is also available to speak with and appointments are available. Alternatively leave your details with the school office and Mrs Clark can ring you at a convenient time. If you need support with translation, one of our EAL staff may ring on her behalf.

For complaints of a more serious nature, a complaint should be made in writing to the Executive Headteacher who will investigate and give a response within ten days. Please see our complaints policy for future details.

Parent View

Throughout the year we welcome parent's views and regularly send out short surveys to parents/carers in relation to the school development plan. Every year we send out a questionaire which asks you to agree/disagree to a few statements. These relate to Ofsted inspection criteria and will be about teaching, learning, behaviour and safety, and leadership. There is always space for your to express your views too.

School Communications

Parents/carers receive a regular newsletter. These newsletters include class specific information, school wide news and issues. This is in additional to occasional letters which are sent home whenever there is important news.
